After many years of creating and developing, I am pleased to now launch my handmade aromatherapy candles, available to purchase online or locally in Bovey Tracey, Devon. There are three to choose from, all handmade with carefully blended and selected ethically produced essential oils:
- Palmarosa, Lavender & Ylang Ylang – a floral blend with relaxing qualities
- May Chang & Benzoin – a citrus blend with refreshing qualities
- Rosemary & Peppermint – a herbal blend with stimulating qualities
My mission was to create a natural candle. This term has many connotations but I wanted a product true to this meaning.
The ingredients I have selected and sourced are 100% natural plant wax, with coconut and rapeseed, as it is naturally bio-degradable, making them a eco-friendly choice. The wax is non-GM and contains no synthetic additives, soy, palm, beeswax or paraffin. This makes them a cleaner and non-toxic burn.
Having worked as an aromatherapist for over thirty years I am very selective with my choice of both ethically sourced and of the highest quality grade essential oils. There is a massive disparity of possibilities available. A beautiful aroma blended from plants, fruits and flowers without the need for synthetic chemicals, fragrances or colour inspired by nature.
The wick is cotton and paper, the tin container reusable and, as with the Bunny Brewer handmade soaps, are vegan and vegetarian friendly with no animal cruelty.
The candles have had the necessary safety checks required for selling.
Light a candle, take a moment of reflection to pause inhale and exhale slowly. Enjoy and burn responsibly.

I am really enjoying the Palmarosa lavender & Ylang Ylang candle – it has a wonderful scent and really is calming. I love candles and, unlike many other candles I have tried, this candle keeps going – I have already lit it more than 10 times and it has burnt for well over 6 hours having burnt less than half the wax. I will definitely purchase another one.
